In the about table, you see a short overview of Redmi 9 Power Specifications. Now, let’s discussed all features of this phone one by one with real experience. We will discuss the pros and cons of this phone related to each spec of the phone.

Redmi 9 Power Design:

The back panel is a very familiar design and has the large Redmi branding on it. You also have some sort of wave-out light effect on the panel and more importantly, the back panel is made entirely out of plastic and it also has texture on it. You get a perfect silicone protector inside the box, you can snap that on the back if you want to stop scratches to the back panel because it’s plastic. Plastic is good for certain things and also not so good for certain things. Xiaomi was selling Redmis phones with metal backs, which is what made them popular.

The frame is quite nicely built, quite rigid and the phone doesn’t have any flex. So it’s well made, it also has a splash-proof design, boats are rubberized and are also anti-corrosive. So they’ve put this sort of coating on the ports. if you live in coastal regions or have more contact with water than normal, your phone ports will not get corroded. The front has a corning gorilla glass 3 and it is quite scratch resistant in itself and Xiaomi does include a screen protector on the display pre-installed, which is something that is appreciable from any phone especially in this price range because it’s difficult to find screen protectors the minute you buy the phone. This one already has one and so don’t have to worry about adding a screen protector to your device.

Redmi 9 Power Display:

The Redmi 9 power has a 6.53 inch full HD plus IPS display that gives it a 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution. This has a brightness of 400 nits which is not the brightest that you can get but again in this price category this is one of the better displays and a better resolution display. The display has good viewing angles and good color as well. It got an IPS display perfect for great viewing angles on display, the 400 nits of brightness is good for watching videos and playing games.

Price based on RAM and Storage:

The of this phone starts at 10999 for the 4 gigabyte RAM and 64 gigabyte Storage and 11999 for 4 gigabytes plus 128-gigabyte storage. The phone also has 4 colors electric green, fiery red, blazing blue, and mighty black. So pick your color according to your preference. Ideally, you should pick the lower storage variant and then invest in a good micro SD card instead of picking the highest storage, where you’re spending a thousand rupees more.

 Fingerprint Unlock:

The fingerprint sensor on the redmi 9 power is placed on the ideal position side mounted. You can use both your thumb on the right hand or your index finger on the left hand to unlock the device. Multiple fingers enrolled in the fingerprint sensor up to five which is pretty standard for android devices and you can use whatever finger you find most comfortable with unlocking instantaneously. It also has a very nice volume button and then on the left is a dedicated SIM tray. You get two sim cards option, as well as a micro SD card. If you pick a lower storage device, then you can still add quite a lot of storage.

 Battery Performance:

It has got an E6000 mA hour battery. In this price range, Redmi stands out for certain reasons because it’s the only one with the full HD+ display, which does make it a compelling offering from the company. People who want large battery life have usually large display consumptions and that makes sense for a larger display and larger resolution. The battery which is the highlight of this phone i.e 6000 milliamps and supports 18-watt fast charging. If you have a USB C to USB C cable you can use the Redmi 9 power as a power bank and charge your other devices, which is great for traveling. This Redmi phone also has something called extended long battery (ELB) technology built into the phone. If you do want better performance from your 6000 milliamp-hour battery you can put it in power saver mode and get a longer battery duration from the device. This feature is great for going on a trip and you forgot to bring your charger.

Cameras of this phone:

It has four cameras 48-megapixel main camera, which is a QUAD pixel-based camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel macro, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for the 48-megapixel main camera. You’re getting 12-megapixel shots that are QUAD pixelated to give you a larger sort of megapixel image. If you click pictures in 12 megapixels, you get really good images with good contrast, good saturation, and really crisp images. You can use them for social media etc. The performance of the main camera is really good that does well for macro shots. The ultra-wide is also pretty decent. If you like capturing ultra-white photos, then an 8-megapixel camera will serve. It also doesn’t work in low light because of the difference in the aperture but in most cases, you cannot observe that variance especially if you want to capture an ultra-wide picture.

The 2-megapixel macro camera is trash leave it don’t use it. It is recommended to use a sort of macro lens on your camera and get a better shot. Just use lens on the main camera to get better resolution macro shots and you get really nice, and crisp shots. As far as the camera user interface is concerned you do get the camera app with all of the customization and the capability. You also have a pro camera mode that contains many modes. The phone looks to be stressed in the user interface. Moving between tabs is not the smoothest that you can get and even video recording capability is capped at 1080p 30FPS, which is not the greatest. You do have the option of switching between H264 and H265. It got a front-facing camera as well which is great for portrait shots and you can also get some sort of light enhancement in there. You get pretty decent front-facing camera images but again video recording on the front-facing camera is not the best. The 8-megapixel camera is good enough for selfies that people use.

Redmi 9 Power Specifications Based Performace:

Performance very good and it depends on how you’re going to use the phone. The UI is not the smoothest and it’s not the best experience that you can get on the device but it does have a QUALCOMM snapdragon 662 chipsets with an octa-core processor, which is two gigahertz. It also has the Adreno 610 GPU, the ram is LPDDR4 and the storage is UFS 2.2. The benchmarks score is almost equivalent to MOTO G9 power but performance is different. The Redmi does stand out for its full HD+ display whereas MOTO G9 power does stand out for its stock android and some of the performance that you get from the stock user interface. You have to decide if you prefer a better display or you prefer better performance because it depends on what kind of usage of the device you have but in both cases, you’re getting quite a similar performance.

It is not very smooth, not very clean, and compare with Xiaomi. There are many Problems with the pre-loaded apps. a lot of bloatware on this phone which is not the right attitude towards the customers. The MiUI based Redmi 9 power does scuffle a little to keep up with the fluidity and smoothness.

A benefit that you get with the Redmi device is the Mi remote app which uses the inbuilt infrared sensor on the top of the phone to allow you to control devices that do have infrared remotes. Most people are using Bluetooth remotes but if you are somebody who uses devices that do use infrared remotes then this is great for controlling those things especially air conditioners and things that still use infrared remotes and is perfect for a camera of all types.

The red 9 power does offer up quite an impressive specification sheet having 600 milliamps of battery, full HD+ display, fingerprint sensor injected into the power button. The build-in quality is impressive having a splash-proof design. It got the ability to charge other phones, have anti-corrosive ports. These all features make the phone really impressive but things like the MiUI basically slowing down the phone considerably great experience. It pushes the phone back a little bit but then you do have other capabilities like the remote capability and some other customizations in the MiUI, which sort of elevate the phone.

There are pros and cons of this device and based on what you prefer you should decide whether or not you want to buy this phone there are options in the market but some have better things and some have less good things. The redmi 9 power is a good overall package but it does miss usage experience which is something that you’re going to be doing every day. I hope you enjoyed this post about Redmi 9 Power Specifications, share it with your friends now.
